Only July 26, 2010 Cesar Flores Only problem is that the batteries does not last for many time. It gives you like 1 or two minutes only of fully fly capabilities. Other than that this a great toy.
Super heli April 24, 2010 V. M. RAJ Bought this from Amazon for my little nephew who is 5 years old. This heli is so much fun and i would say even for adults. Took a little bit of time to get the control over the remote but once we got it its happy flying time! My nephew just loves it.
Awesome air hogz helicopter!!! February 7, 2010 Derek J. Speelman This toy is far more durable than it seems. It's fun for days and i can't imagine getting bored with it!
Not bad to get hooked into this hobby! February 4, 2010 Christopher R. Lowe (South Bend, IN United States) So I bought a cheap little RC helicopter at some clearance extravaganza that was happening in our town about 3 weeks ago. Brought the $20 lil copter home, and I broke the stabilizer bar within minutes of taking it out of the box and firing it up. I was SO excited to fly and try and now I was REALLY hankering to fly something, I was NOT going to give up! So I figured let's see what Amazon has in comparison - I found the Air Hogs and this model. I figure for $30 it must be a tad better. It arrived in about 2 days. Well my 5YO daughter and I had just a blast with the thing. As you can imagine we put it through its paces. It hit the ceiling, every piece of furniture in our house, we landed it hard, ran it into the walls, etc. etc. And remarkably it held up very well. Now these little things basically can go up/down, left/right circles. You REALLY can't control them going fwd/bkwd. They give you some small pieces of aluminum tape to put on the nose of these little micros so they lean forward and they get a little go. It will take some practice and you will get hooked. I now own 8 Air Hogs of the various models. Each of them fly differently - that is half the fun -and my daughter and I built an airport out of legos and we just have a great time, and she is REALLY trying hard to learn how to fly them, and these are the PERFECT little "toys" to do just that. I also have now purchased some additional REAL RC Helis, and I am trying to learn how to fly 4 channel and then move into 6 channel - it does get hard.
If you have a house full of stuff - stick with the micros and minis of Helis. Theses little things might fly outside on a non-windy day, but they are perfect for indoors.
A lot of fun for not a lot of money. February 1, 2010 B. Kelly (San Diego, CA) The Havoc Helis are easy to learn and a blast once you get the hang of them. I already had two micro RC helicopters from Brookstone and these are much easier to learn to control. They are amazingly durable. I even flew the helicopter into the cat's water bowl once and it was fine. There are not perfect though. Even with adjusting the trim, they tend to favor turning one direction over another. Overall, they are well worth the price for the amount of enjoyment they offer.
